Rust Removal Acid Wash

Your home's Chimney was probably built in the ‘90s or with materials from the ‘90s. It is our understanding that back then, there was one manufacturer or building supplier that received nongalvanized materials. When sheet metal or zinc is not galvanized, it oxidizes and consequently, rust develops.

Within the hour after the rust is removed, or as soon as the treated area is dry, we waste not a second and begin the application of an oil-based Rustoleum Enamel to prevent further oxidation. It is critical to apply almost immediately before new rust will develop. We have been providing this service since 2006, and so far, we have never had a callback.

We are 99.99% successful in removing most contaminated siding or stucco, which has come in contact with rust.
